  • The original Foundation was established in Iran, in 1976, and operated until the onset of the 1979 revolution.

    The current Foundation was started in late 2023.

    In its nacent phase, it’s in fundraising mode in order to be able to fund future programs and projects linked to its mission.

  • The Foundation is based in Lisbon, Portugal for several pragmatic reasons.

    The country has a rich history of international trade and cross cultural ties. Today, it’s a democratic, dynamic country with a well educated pluralistic society. Quality of life is high yet cost of living remains reasonable.

    The Global Peace Index 2023 (a report for the Institute for Economics and Peace) measures economic, social and political factors in 163 countries. Portugal was ranked in the top ten at number 7.

  • At present, the Foundation does not yet have a physical location that can accomodate visitors.

    We are looking to eventually partner with a local organization to host the foundation’s artworks, books and digital archive.

    The team behind the Foundation are working around the world to honour its mission.

  • The foundation is currently seeking funds in order to contribute to specific programs and projects described in the “What we do” portion of this website.

    We receive requests from people to fund countless types of projects but unfortunately are not in a position to help all those we wish we could.

  • The Foundation is grateful to receive any size contribution you can make, as a one-time donation, or monthly/annual contribution.

  • The Foundation is currently looking for an adequate physical space to house its library of books, artwork collection and digital archive.

    If the item(s) you would like to donate is/are unique and could be a significant asset to the foundation, kindly send us an email or letter with detailed descriptions of the item(s) in question.

    For artworks, please send the description, dimension, provenance, a high res image, and how it can be shipped to Paris (short term) or Lisbon.

    For books, please provide specific details of the items.
